We see this a lot, Just because David can rank a video in 3 minutes doesn't mean you can... yet :)
OK, kidding a little there.
Several factors play in here.
First, it can take several days for your video to show up on YouTube or Google. Sometimes even a week. Most times just check the next day or the following day and you should see your video on page 1.
Second, it really depends on what keywords you're using. We've seen people try to target keywords like "sell my house". This is an extremely difficult keyword to rank for. Make sure that your keyword targeting is something that is realistic for your market. Using your city name in the keyword, something like "sell my Seattle house fast" will be much more effective then "sell my house".
